Soprano Kate Miller is from the UK and emigrated with her husband of 6 months from Bath to Edmonton in 1978. Kate worked professionally as a nurse, and her family lived in several places in Canada before settling in Victoria.
Kate came to singing late, around 45 or so, but once she started singing, she’s never stopped!
Kate feels fortunate to have Kathryn Whitney and Michael Gormley as teachers. She sings the Christ Church Cathedral Choir and the CapriCCio Vocal Ensemble.
Kate writes: “I’m so happy and incredibly lucky to be discovering the beautiful music in the world, and to be a part of the exciting Winterreise Project.”
